Access Denied!

Smart phones, email, text messages, social networks—we are constantly connected through a number of different tools. What would you do if you were told you were cut off? Cold turkey…access denied!

That is what President-elect Barack Obama is facing come January according to Jeff Zeleny in his article this past Saturday in NYT, Say Goodbye to BlackBerry? If Obama Has to, Yes He Can.

Plug and Play at CTIA

This week’s CTIA show in Orlando offered an interesting look at the wireless industry and the applications and devices that are (and will be) available to business and consumer users.

Not surprising was the fact that wireless broadband access was pervasive throughout the sprawling trade show footprint. After all it is a wireless show. Given the ubiquity of broadband access, it was intriguing to see people setting up “work environments” in the halls of the convention center near standard electric outlets in order to power their laptops and mobile phones.
