Springboard Teams Up with DKMS to Support Bone Marrow Donor Drive in New Jersey

Springboard has teamed up with DKMS, the world's largest bone marrow donor center, to help a family seek a donor for their son Brian Wecker Jr. who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL).

The Power of Social Media

As part of our on-going pro bono initiatives, we recently put our social media expertise to work for a friend and his family. Utilizing YouTube and Twitter, we helped create awareness for a new television reality series on TLC starring the Hayes family who live in New Jersey.What is so special about the Hayes family? They are a growing family of 12 that includes Eric and Betty and their two sets of twins and sextuplets. Yes…10 kids!

Community Service Through Pro Bono Public Relations

In a recent blog, my colleague discussed the importance of establishing rapport with media professionals.

In addition to maintaining these external relationships, it is equally important to form relationships and take pride in our involvement with the local community. For example, as part of Springboard’s corporate social responsibility initiative, we regularly offer our PR services pro bono (latin for “for the public good”) to small area businesses and not-for-profit organizations. This type of service affords us the opportunity to make positive contributions to the community and stay in touch with local press and broadcast outlets.
