Join the Social Media Conversation
Today, I gave a client a
“Twitter 101” primer.
Unbeknownst to him, someone from his company (a non-marketing employee) created
a profile on Twitter and started tweeting on behalf of the organization without
the marketing department’s knowledge. While we presented the need for a social
media strategy several months ago, at the time, Twitter (and other social media
platforms) was not a priority because they had several other marketing
initiatives in play. This changed today.
