NJConnect had its second meetup last night in Red Bank. The topic was social media and featured two presenters—Matt Elefant of Melity and Sean Pfitzenmaier of SoSauce.com.

Melity provides organizations with social business solutions and Matt gave a great overview of how some of Melity’s customers are using and embracing social media applications. SoSauce.com is a social network for travel geeks who live for traveling. Sean took the audience through SoSauce’s inception and then gave an exciting demo of the site and applications.

Last night was a great mix of members who attended the April meetup as well as a number of new professionals from startups, agencies and the media. We are starting to plan the next meetup for sometime in August and are open to feedback on the topic (and speakers). Check out last night’s photos on Springboard’s Flickr page.
